Maybe you aren't ready for a site redesign but you really would like your blog to be part of your old site.  It's not as hard as you may think.  I recommend using RSSinclude.com.  The basic service is free with an upgrade available for less than $40/year.

This new version of Wordpress is a definite improvement. For simple sites that you want to manage yourself, it's a great low-cost alternative. You can purchase templates galore or use the free ones. If you go with wordpress.com, you don't even have hosting fees. Wordpress.org allows you to install WordPress on any server you want. But then you have to backup your files and update the system. To keep it really simple, go with wordpress.com. If you get stuck, give us a call. We can help you customize things or just figure out the interface.
