Within Gmail you can still setup your return address to reflect your company domain name: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . You can import your contact lists, set up folders (which Gmail calls "labels"), create filters, forward multiple accounts to just one Gmail account, and much more. This new version of Wordpress is a definite improvement. For simple sites that you want to manage yourself, it's a great low-cost alternative. You can purchase templates galore or use the free ones. If you go with wordpress.com, you don't even have hosting fees. Wordpress.org allows you to install WordPress on any server you want. But then you have to backup your files and update the system.
